Day 1

Board the barge at Dole and meet your crew for a champagne reception.

In the evening enjoy your first dinner on board, with decadent local cuisine and fine wines.

Day 2

Join the River Saône on your leisurely morning cruise.

Visit Clos de Vougeot , a medieval château and headquarters of the Chevaliers du Tastevin society. You’ll be treated to a private wine tasting at a reputed local producer before rejoining the barge.

Day 3

After breakfast, take a walking tour of historic Dijon. Visit the market, the Ducal Palace and the famous Grey Poupon mustard shop.

Return to the barge for lunch as you continue along the majestic river to Verdun sur le Doubs . This evening, you'll be treated to a dinner at a charming local Michelin-rated restaurant.

Day 4

Continue along the final stretch of the Saône before mooring in the pretty village of Fragnes .

After lunch join a tour of Beaune , wine capital of Burgundy. Tour the magnificent 15th-century Hôtel-Dieu a charity hospital that reveals the region’s history. Explore the town at your leisure before returning to the barge.

Day 5

Relax and watch the world float by as your cruise along the beautiful Canal du Centre.

After lunch, the estate's owner takes you on a tour of Château de Germolles , the last remaining residence of the Dukes of Burgundy.

As evening descends, moor in Chagny for a dinner at a local Michelin-rated restaurant.

Day 6

A leisurely cruise takes you to St Léger , your final destination.

After lunch tour Château de Chamirey , a family-run wine estate, complete with a tasting session. Take a scenic drive back to the barge in time for cocktails and a farewell gala dinner.

Day 7

After breakfast, bid adieu to the crew and disembark for your onward travel arrangements.
