Locks
The Canal de Nantes à Brest is open daily from 8.30 to 12.30am and from 1.30 to 6.45pm (HS). There are lock keepers at every lock. Direction Nantes they are closed on the 1st of May and 14.07. Vilaine, Canal d'Ille-et-Rance:(HS) daily 9.30-12.35am and 1.35-7pm. Sometimes the same lock keeper accompanies a boat through several locks.
