Saint Antonius General Information

Since 1923 the 'Saint Antonius' has carried cargoes of grain and cereals throughout continental Europe from her base in the Netherlands until her conversion to a hotel barge in 1966.. She is one of the finest examples afloat of the very beautiful 'luxemotor' shape.

The accommodation consists of 4 cabins each with two beds, toilet, shower and hand basin. There is a large saloon in which to relax as well as a galley and dining area. There is a sun deck in the center of the boat where you can watch the countryside go by. The Swiss crew/owners, Paul and Ursula Mani, will live in the original skippers quarters in the aft cabin and will concern themselves with the piloting and maneuvering of the ship and making the technical equipment run like a Swiss watch.

'Saint Antonius' is available on a charter only basis from 4 to 6 persons

The basic principle of the 'Bed and Breakfast' cruise is to give you the maximum flexibility to organise a Hotel Barge holiday with as many options as you wish and at a very competitive price.

The barge is offered with the basic services; crew for maneuvering the boat, breakfast, heating, bedding, towels, bicycles (4), deck chairs, TV and radio, use of fully equipped galley, fuel, water, canal fees, insurance, final clean of boat.

After this we can arrange everything from pickup and drop-off at the beginning and end of the cruise, guide, cook, minibus, excursions, ballooning etc. Contact us for details. The basic prices are on the prices page.
