| Since 1923 the 'Saint Antonius' has carried cargoes of
grain and cereals throughout continental Europe from her base in the Netherlands
until her conversion to a hotel barge in 1966.. She is one of the finest
examples afloat of the very beautiful 'luxemotor'
shape.
The accommodation consists of 4 cabins each with two beds, toilet, shower and hand basin. There is a large saloon in which to relax as well as a galley and dining area. There is a sun deck in the center of the boat where you can watch the countryside go by. The Swiss crew/owners, Paul and Ursula Mani, will live in the original skippers quarters in the aft cabin and will concern themselves with the piloting and maneuvering of the ship and making the technical equipment run like a Swiss watch. 'Saint Antonius' is available on a charter only basis from 4 to 6 persons |
