the Boyle and Shannon rivers, Portumna at the top of the majestic

now operates all of the boats formerly cruising under the Connoisseur and
the Crown Blue Line brands.
One Way holidays are possible between Carrick and Belturbet or Portumna and Carrick, although there is so much to see in the various areas that it would be a pity to rush things. |

The onshore facilities at the bases include comfortable
reception foyers, instructional videos, showers, laundrettes, clothes drier,
and parking. All the boats have a telephone on board for contact with the
base if required.
There is so much to see, so much to do and so many places to visit - all in amazing and contrasting scenery - and the freedom to do it ! You have canals, narrow and wider sections of river, and lakes dotted with islands. There are only 6 locks on the entire Shannon and 16 automatic ultra modern electronic locks on the Shannon-Erne waterway. Choose your own pace in the long light evenings of the summer basking in the friendliness of the people and you'll understand why you will get drawn back again and again... |
