| Base manager Jelmer de Vries welcomes you to Strand Horst. Windmills tower at the entrance of towns as if to mark your route along the pretty Dutch landscape and thousands of ponds, lakes, brooks and canals flow in every direction to form magnificent aquatic embroidery. When cruising in Holland you soon find that boating is a way of life. Marina Strand Horst is situated in a beautiful, natural environment. This is a luxury resort with a Mediterranean atmosphere and lots of facilities on site. BASE OPENING HOURS Monday - 08:00 - 17:00 Tuesday - Closed Wednesday - Closed Thursday - Closed Friday - 08:00 - 17:00 Saturday - 08:00 - 17:00 Sunday - Closed LATE ARRIVALS If you are going to be arriving at the base late, you will need to inform the base directly or the general sales office where you booked. When you arrive at the base , at the main entrance you will find the phone number of the harbour master. You will need to contact him and he will come and let you in. The boat will be left open with the lights on for you to stay on board that night. The base staff will do the full briefing the following morning. Please note that arrivals after 20:00 are not possible as the marina is locked.
