The new manager and owner is Howard Davies who

our customers of a warm welcome at Le
Somail.
Their flagships are boats in the
Sovereign class
wide beam, and barge style. These boats are the Narbonne, Le Somail,
and
the Carcassonne. Seven steel boats are
available.

The hire fleet is
based
in the picturesque Languedoc village of Le
Somail, about 10 miles from Narbonne, which lies on the 54
kilometre
"Grand Bief" (lock-free pound) of the Canal du Midi.
The company is small, and family-owned and
operated, assuring
you of friendly, personal attention (from English speakers).The boats
are
classic, durable all-steel English canal boats, ideally suited to the
Canal
du Midi, and are beautifully maintained.
