For your own safety Rive de France has taken out an optional insurance policy against cancellaion with AXA Centre Fluvial, N° C 011 40 20.We give below a summary of the conditions and the guarantees covered in case of cancellation. 

Cancellation

The policy covers reimbursement of sums paid in the event of cancellation of your rental for the following reasons:- 

a) Serious illness, serious accident or death of yourself, your spouse, guardian, ascendants, descendants, brothers, sisters, btothers in law, sisters in law, sons in law, daughters in law, fathers in law or mothers in law.
b) Relapses, aggravation of a previously existing illness as well as pregnancy complications are guaranteed.
c) Important material damage involving your main or secondary residence and obligatorily requiring your presence. 

The main exclusions are as follows: 

a) mental illness not requiring a hospital stay of more than 7 days
b) Intentional acts
c) Epidemics, nautural disasters
d) Accidents resulting from mechanical or aerial sporting activities
e) Pregnany, abortion, childberth and its normal course
f) Illness not declared at the time of booking
g) Acts of terrorism
h) Consequences of drug addiction or alcoholism
i) Accidents resulting from any professional sporting activties 

We remind you that you must inform us immediately of any problem so as to limit the amount of the cost still invoiced. In all cases the cost of the cancellation policy itself is never reimbursed as well as a 100 euro AXA administration fee. The Company alone will be competent to appreciate if your case is covered by this insurance
