| "I decided I had to celebrate my 30th birthday. And what a celebration it was too! A whole week with my closest friends. it was paradise on water. I felt like a child again on that boat. Every morning, when we stopped at the lock, we would pass by the village bakers to pick up our hot fresh croissants. Then we would spend whole afternoons just lying around in the French Riviera sun. We had all already been on several boat holidays but it was the first time we had shared this experience together. | So here we were on this 41-foot boat. We imagined ourselves piloting a cruiser, the only difference being that we could drive this one with our eyes closed It was very comfortable on board, with its separate cabins and fitted washing facilities. Every evening, we would all meet up at the dinner table for a massive meal. At the end of an eventful evening, we would return to our "quarters" for a good night's sleep. It was really an unforgettable birthday trip." |
