| "Since we retired, we have been enjoying rediscovering France in a different way, which is why we decided to take a riverboat cruise. Last time, we took our grand-children on a riverboat trip for the long Easter week-end. We took the Rive 40 through the Alsace region. We knew that with this new-generation boat, we would have all the comforts of our own home and that there would be enough room for everyone. | Everything was perfect : the fitted kitchen, spacious lounge and washing facilities ; even the heating system, which kept the living quarters at a pleasant temperature. We travelled through forests by water and stopped off a few times to visit some of the castles overlooking the Alsace plain. We were all also delighted to discover the delicious local cuisine. Our next trip together will be in the Franche-Comté region." |
